Which model to choose?
It mainly depends on how big a step you want to take. Moon is a great first step into electronics – the simplest controls, with interchangeable clip-on cases and straps. Star has more features and a more grown-up design, adding heart-rate monitoring, a voice recorder, and a music player. Star works well as a follow-on to Moon, but it can just as easily be a child's first watch.
What age are KLOKI watches for?
For kids aged about 3 to 10. Moon is a perfect first watch, even for the very youngest, while Star has more features and a more grown-up design.
Does my child need a phone to use the watch?
No. The watch has its own SIM, so your child can call and send voice messages without a phone, and you can see where they are. Only you need a phone – for the Findee Kids app.
Do I need to buy a SIM card for the watch?
No. The SIM is built into the watch at the factory and can't be swapped for your own – that's exactly why no unknown number can call it. You just pay a subscription from 2,49 € a month.
How much does it cost to run each month?
The “Stay in Touch” plan is 2,49 €, and “Track & Talk” is 4,99 €. The first month is free, and you can cancel the subscription anytime.
Does the subscription tie me into a contract?
No. The subscription is monthly and you can cancel it anytime. The first month is free.
Does the watch have games or internet access?
No. No games, social media, browser or ads. The watch is for calls with approved contacts, location and SOS, and it goes silent on its own at school.
Does it work abroad too?
Yes, in 140+ countries with no roaming charges. The watch automatically finds the network with the best coverage.
What if my child breaks the watch or gets it wet?
The watch has IP68 water resistance – showers, rain, and the pool are no problem. It comes with a 2-year warranty, and we handle servicing right here in Europe.
Where does my child's data end up?
On servers in the EU. Your child's location and calls never leave the EU. KLOKI is a European project – we build the app and run support ourselves.
